Fundraisers planned for Edwards Co. coach battling cancer
Edwards County is getting behind a long time teacher and coach whose current opponent is cancer.
Linda Oxby, a legend in Illinois volleyball coaching circles, is the focus of a Valentine’s night of appreciation on Feb. 14, hosted by the Edwards County School District and the volleyball teams from Edwards County High, Albion Grade School and West Salem Grade School.
“The night is all for Linda,” said a spokesperson for the organizers.
