Wabash Co. jail inmate escapes | News
An inmate is now being housed in maximum security after escaping his cell. That's according to our media partner, the Daily Republican Register.
Fifty-one-year-old David Reed was being held in the Wabash County Jail on vehicle theft charges when he managed to get his cell door open Monday night.
A Mt. Carmel police officer was able to apprehend Reed less than an hour later.
He may now face additional charges in the escape.
