Norris City man hurt in White Co. accident | News
A 22-year-old Norris City man was hurt early Saturday morning when he reportedly fell asleep at the wheel of his pick-up truck and hit a tree.
Illinois State Police say Joseph Abell was eastbound on White CR 500N, about ½ mile east of White CR 600E when the accident happened.
He was taken to Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado by a relative. He was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Failure to Wear Seat Belt and Failure to Report a Traffic Accident to Police Authority. The crash remains under investigation by ISP District 19.
