A member of Congressman John Shimkus' staff will e available to meet with constituents during his Traveling Help Desk events in White and Hamilton Counties on October 1.  

A staff member will be in Hamilton County and White County on Monday, October 1, from 10:30 a.m.-noon at the Broughton Community Hall on Second Street; and from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Enfield Village Hall, 115 East Main Street.

“Traveling Help Desk allows you to meet face to face with my staff in your hometown instead of over the telephone or having to drive, for example, to my office in Springfield,” Shimkus explained. “He or she will be able to handle any issue you may have regarding the federal government.”

No appointment is necessary, but constituents requiring special accommodations should call the Congressman’s office (240 Regency Centre, Collinsville, IL 62234, phone 618-344-3065) at least 48 hours before the scheduled Traveling Help Desk. If you are unable to attend October 1, you may contact the Collinsville office from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
