Fire destroys Grayville home | News

Fire destroyed a home in Grayville Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say it started around 4:30.

The picture taken by local resident Aaron Jones shows high winds blowing thick smoke in the area.

One firefighter was sent to the hospital for treatment of heat exhaustion.

The Navigator-Journal reports that the 90-year-old homeowner was able to get out.  His son-in-law indicated the blaze began on the back porch.
