Corrections officer charged in sexual abuse case now out of jail
WHITE CO, IL (WFIE)- In White County, Illinois, a corrections officer arrested on a sexual abuse charge is out of jail after posting a $10,000 bond.
Sheriff's Deputies tell us 38-year-old Phillip Lowery II was arrested Thursday after a father complained that Lowery sexually abused his daughter.
Lowery is on administrative leave from the jail until the investigation is complete.
He's charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
