Illinois man falls asleep while driving motorcycle
An Illinois man is seriously hurt after authorites say he fell asleep while riding his motorcycle.
Illinois State Police say 62-year-old Lester Jordan was on Pounds Hollow Road in Gallatin County when his bike went off the road and overturned. Jordan was thrown from the motorcycle and into a tree.
He received serious blunt force trauma to his head. Authorities say he was not wearing a helmet.
He's being treated at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
