WADI making appointments for energy assistance program | Families

WADI begin making appointments Wednesday, July 11, at 8:30am for the Summer Energy Assistance Program for the Southeastern Illinois counties of Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne and White.

Appointments will be made for households containing any one of the following:

1. Persons 60 years of age or older

2. Persons who are permanently disabled (receiving disability benefits or having a disability approval letter)

3. Households containing any children under the age of 5

4. Medical households who have a serious condition aggravated by extreme heat

You will need to bring in the following to your appointment: heating and electric bills, proof of income for 30 days prior to the appointment, social security cards for everyone in the household.
