A 39-year-old Ridgway man has admitted to running a marijuana growing operation in southern Illinois.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Daniel J. Fulkerson pleaded guilty Monday in federal court. He had been indicted on a charge of conspiring with two other individuals to grow more than 100 pot plants.
The indictment was returned in September and alleged that the operation took place in Gallatin County earlier this year.
Sentencing has been set for April 11.
Fulkerson has been held without bond since September 11.
The case was investigated by the Carmi office of the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force.
