On Friday, August 10, Tressie Facculyn-Gous, a librarian at Albion Public Library, suffered a brain aneurysm.  In that one moment, her life dramatically changed forever. To help with her increasing medical expenses & hardships, friends of Tressie have organized a day, in her honor, to raise money.

Tressie's husband, Derek, is the minister at the West Village Christian Church in rural Albion.

On Saturday, November 10, there will be a cookout at the Pagoda on the square in Albion featuring Pork burgers, Pork chops, Hamburgers and Chili. Selling will begin at 11 am with a free will donation.  Chili cooked over an open fire will be served by the bowl and in bulk.

There will be an Evening BBQ Dinner & Auctions at the Exhibition Building at the Edwards Co. Fairgrounds featuring Bob Murphy BBQ, baked beans, potato salad/chips, applesauces, dessert and drinks. Food will be served from 4 – 7 pm.  Carry-outs will be available.

A silent auction will be held from 4-7 pm, followed by a live auction.
