Carmi has a new pharmacy, but expect to see some familiar faces inside.
According to the Navigator-Journal, Plum St. Pharmacy is owned and operated by former Lovins pharmacist Andy Gee.
The building used to be home to a pharmacy but later became a church.
Gee is joined in the venture by fellow Lovins alumni pharmacist Ray Demaret and assistant Debbie Collins. Gee and other Plum St. staffers were employed at the Carmi Lovins’ location; Demaret and Collins worked at the Grayville Lovins Pharmacy.
“Even though we’re going to be very busy, we’re looking forward to seeing all our former customers again,” Demaret told the newspaper. Read their story here.
